Prince Charles could do with some help
Prince Charles (The Prince of Wales) is advertising for a new head gardener to tend and develop his organic garden and parkland at Highgrove House. David Magson, who has been in charge of the grounds at the house near Tedbury, Glous, for around eight years, is leaving for another post.
The job is being advertised in Horticultural Week. The Prince is seeking someone with substantial experience in maintaining and developing the garden and parklands to the highest standard. He or she will be expected to be a fully fledged member of the organic tendency and willing to make constant changes to the garden to incorporate the Prince's latest enthusiasm.Hinting at future additions.
The advertisement says applicants must have a flexible and positive approach to the complexities of a developing garden.
Sounds tempting for a summer job, doesn't it?
