Peter Bonsey
co-founded The English Gardener with Joseph in 1991. Peter is from a quiet country village in the county of Wiltshire near Bath in England. In postwar England, families were allotted small parcels of land to grow vegetables. Peter's father always included flowers among the vegetables. His father's love of flowers took root in Peter. With a BA in Education and a BA and MA in Fine Arts, Peter has studied gardening at the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, The Royal Horticultural Society in Hamilton, Ontario, and in Australia (where he lived for ten years.)
Peter is retired now and can be found enjoying the new conservatory on the back of his house along with his three cats.
